Along the way, we stop at a local market to pick up some supplies. The real journey commences as we start our uphill trek, meandering through the lush, captivating jungle for about 3 hours. This is an opportunity to disconnect from the world and appreciate the majesty of nature around us. Our journey's high point, both literally and figuratively, is reaching the highest peak of 2,300 m, where we pause to enjoy a well-earned lunch.
Afternoon: Discovering the Karen Village
In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the Karen hill tribe village. This 3-hour trek allows us to soak in the unique charm and tranquility of the region. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at the peaceful Karen village, allowing for a full immersion into the local way of life.
